The Short Version

- • Your chat messages are saved so you can see your history
- • We use Google's AI to answer your questions (they see your messages)
- • We don't sell your data or track you with analytics
- • You can delete your conversations anytime
1. What We Collect
Account Information
When you sign in (via Google through Clerk), we receive:
- Your email address
- A user ID
We don't store passwords—authentication is handled by Clerk.
Chat Messages
When you use the AI assistant:
- Your questions are saved to our database
- The AI's responses are also saved
- This creates your conversation history
Why: So you can return to past conversations and continue where you left off.
Address Lookups
If you ask about a specific property address, the address is sent to Google's Geocoding API and the City of Roswell's GIS system. The address is not permanently stored in our database.
2. Third-Party Services
We use these external services to make the app work:

3. What We Don't Do
- No analytics tracking – We don't use Google Analytics, Hotjar, or similar tools
- No advertising – We don't show ads or share data with advertisers
- No data sales – We don't sell your information to anyone
- No unnecessary cookies – Only authentication cookies from Clerk
4. Data Retention
- Chat conversations: Kept until you delete them
- Account data: Kept while your account is active
- Address lookups: Not stored (processed in real-time only)
5. Your Rights
Delete Your Data
- Conversations: Click the delete button on any conversation to permanently remove it and all its messages
- Account: Contact us to request complete account deletion
Access Your Data
All your conversations are visible in the chat interface. If you need an export, contact us.
6. Security
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS
- Database access is restricted to the application
- Authentication is handled by Clerk's secure infrastructure
- We don't store passwords
7. Children's Privacy
This application is designed for use by adults (property owners, developers, city staff). We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll notify users through the application.
